Very quiet except for birds. There are some full-service cabins with beds (for 6 people) a kitchen (with utensils) , bathroom, porch, AC, heat, BBQ and other amenities. Did you find us useful? When camping in a tent, I'd recommend Loop B (electric sites). We stayed at Janes Island October 23, 24, 25, 2015. The kayak trails are well marked, descriptive, and suitable for all levels of ability. Our 6 children ( 4 girls, 2 boys ) are all grown-up with families of theirJanes Island campground is a hidden gem! Cabin kitchens are equipped with oven, stove, refrigerator, coffee pot, microwave, basic cooking utensils and service for six. Getting to the nearby beach was a hard 30 - 40 minute paddle, so forgetting things is not anJanes Island State Park is a very clean and pretty park. Each site also has a table, lantern post, fire ring and grate.
