Once a year my husband an I visit the Charleston area, staying on the Isle of Palms, one and a half hours South of Brookgreen. The zoo area is included with admission the butterfly house is an additional fee. We also took the Oak Trail tour which was very interesting. Guards were rude during Mike Frost Concert.
