You're way too young and buff and you know it. Young Jackie Chan is around to get beat up by the lead in the final brawl. This movie is all weird cuts, zooms, and just odd editing. A spoilt rich kid turns up at a fu school to show off, but he gets clobbered by the boastful Little Tiger, who is later framed for the kid's murder when a gang of blackmailers make an example of him. The story is... eh.
Very odd, I can not believe anyone can sit out this whole movie except if you are a hardcore genre nerd. He is easy to spot though due to an enormous, unconvincing mole stuck to his cheek!Well, I've seen a lot of generic Asian action films from this period and I have seen worse acting, worse dialogue and worse plotlines.I'll admit right now that the editing and camerawork is my the top ten for crappiness. The alternative title for this film is Police Woman. There were more than a few shots that were out of focus. You could probably pull off Maldonado still, actually. This guy. It's blurred often, there look to be a lot of shots dropped in too. Stessa cosa che viene detta dalla maggior parte degli utenti nelle review presenti qui su Letterboxd. It was.... weird. It's pretty obviously written by a parent that doesn't understand the new generation and hasn't tried to. The female cop with waaaaaaaay skill is more interesting to a fault... Making the lead less interesting by comparison. Pin-Jui is a young boy from a poor family living in Huwei ("tiger tail"). Young Tiger (1973) A gang chases a cab driver and his sister to recover evidence of a crime. But the pressures placed on him by his parents in India force him to put his own life at risk...Marie Amachoukeli and Céline Sciamma as writers ah yesMarie Amachoukeli and Céline Sciamma as writers ah yesCompelling film about a conflicted young immigrant struggling to keep his illegal activity secret.Great performances by the lead actor as well as his uncle in the film and his love interest.Overly simplistic about what's right and wrong for the immigrants portrayed in the film. Am I right? It was.... weird. There were some really intense zooms that happened at random times and the choreography was a little clumsier than I'm used to. 難逃法網, Ting Lu - Der grausame Tiger, Le jeune tigre, Small Tiger It also has the period specific extreme close-ups on people's faces which can be overused. All things considered though, this is a decent good…I love Chinese/Hong Kong Cinema from this time, but this is just meh. It's pretty obviously written by a parent that doesn't understand the new generation and hasn't tried to. As for the latter, there's a fight in the beginning, a chase somewhere, and a fight at the end, but otherwise the film is slow and only peppered with some occasion ridiculous but amusing character scenes. A teenager like any other, he divides his time between school, friends, and his girlfriend. They tried their best but this wasn't good at all. I couldn't tell if that was because of the first ac or because they punched in on shots in the edit and the resolution couldn't take it. Yes, it stars Jackie Chan but it is one of his earliest roles, a glorified extra, the leader of a gang of thugs. The police allow Tiger to escape, in order to find the real culprits. Most distracting is a 19 year old Jackie Chan because he has a bad attitude and a huge fake mole that covers up 25% of his face. The lead has about as much charisma as a football.
The alternative title for this film is Police Woman. There were more than a few shots that were out of focus. Sul retrocopertina del dvd italiano viene indicata la presenza di un giovane Jackie Chan in un ruolo di supporto. Joe Exotic. Director: Mu Zhu. There were some really intense zooms that happened at random times and the choreography was a little clumsier than I'm used to. The dilemma of the hero feels like something we've seen many times before. The greatest annoyance was the handheld camera, constantly jumping and jerking, enough to make me sick to my stomach. For a late night drowsy watch this was ok as a TV snow like lullaby. You have to wonder why a movie like this is on Netflix. Cast: QiuYuen, CharlieChin, JackieChan, ChinHu, WenTaiLi, BettyTing.
