I love Florida, especially Miami. You will hardly hear any English spoken (from our experience).Now we were on our way to the Keys! It's a great retreat from snow and harsh winters and the perfect place to absorb some Vitamin D while exploring new cultures, great street art, and some really unique parts of nature. However, order does come with a price. I am from Puerto Rico, so, I know about extreme humidity and heat. I wish we traveled around a bit more but then again I think how exhausted the heat made and kind of glad we didn’t!

There are plenty of roadside restaurants, fresh juice stands and coffee shops along the side as well as a great number of easily accessible beaches and parks.Key West, the most southern point of U.S.A., located only 100 miles away from Cuba. The lighthouse was built in 1907 in order to guide incoming ships safely around the Hillsboro Point which proved a hazardous zone for navigation. But keep in mind that you will have to have military affiliation to access this “best” beach.I found it unique and cute how many Chiclets were walking around on the streets of Key West. It was certainly one of Florida’s most unique attractions. First thing to mention is the TOLL roads, there is no escape from it. We didn’t participate in any activities except feeding the fish. Miami is known for its bold use of color but in the center of the city is a neighborhood that takes color to a whole new level. We did manage to find beach access on Boca Chica Key, but it is very tiny and water there is shallow. Thanks for sharing!I love road trips are the USA is the place to do it. It’s amazing place to walk through and peruse with countless food and retail stops along the way. We stayed in Orlando for 2 weeks with a trip out to Cape Canaveral for NASA. A Big portion of the visitors’ attention takes to the Museum of Robert The Doll. From Las Olas Boulevard for unique shops, to the incredible bargains at Sawgrass Mills, to the over-the-top options at Bal Harbour, there is something for everyone. Unlike Miami Beach where it’s always a racket, a party and where finding a free parking slot takes a half-hour, Fort Lauderdale’s It’s not that Miami is devoid of creativity, there are a few quirky shops to peruse in Wynwood, but in Fort Lauderdale, these unique stores are easily accessible along Las Olas Boulevard. However, there is so much more to experience in and around Miami and Fort. I don’t know how much time you have, but here is a basic itinerary. I did not expect this, so I was been slightly disappointed. Then, road trip down the Keys. However, there is so much more to experience in and around Miami and Fort.

Also do research about Orlando and other cities as Florida does have more to offer. It was worth the stop as we had never seen a farm of Alligators before (this isn’t an inhumane farm that kills them for leather, just a tourist attraction). When you arrive in Miami, you can spend 1 to a few days here, visiting Miami and South Beach. The marinas here are just as sprawling as those in Miami.Conveniently, the airport in Fort Lauderdale caters to international flights too. Lauderdale. Located in Homestead, FL this massive stand that’s more like an outdoor market has hundreds of goodies for sale such as fruits, locally-sourced jams and jellies (like Strawberry Serrano Pepper Jam), candies and even homemade fruit breads like banana or apple. If order and cleanliness is a plus, then this city definitely checks those two things off the list.
However, order does come with a price. )For a dose of culture, the city is home to a string of art galleries along the Las Olas Boulevard and beyond. Brightline operates a train from MiamiCentral to Fort Lauderdale every 4 hours.
