4mi I’d wear bug spray and long pants. parking area to the Bottom Rd. The trail follows along the river for a bit, which is nice, but there was no waterfall, which was disappointing. One part of the trail was a bit over grown and there were a few muddy spots but nothing impassable. RECOMMENDED ROUTE Little Gunpowder (White) trail by the river is fun, while Blue & Yellow trails are less muddy with more climbs. Day hiking Little Gunpowder Trail. It feels more removed than it was and there were far fewer people here than other nearby parks.A little muddy and kinds narrow in places.
