Ghost Shark is a long way from good, but it is better than the first three movies listed- and the Shark Attack movies- if not quite reaching hilariously bad guilty-pleasure status like Sharknado did. 3 out of 11 found this helpful. Well Ghost Shark is a Syfy film so you know this is going to be a different type of shark film. "Ghost Shark" at least has a unique premise.
The protagonists--the usual horror movie teen set--are a varied bunch, ranging from the incredibly hot but wicked blonde who dies a quick death (wish they had kept her around for a few more scenes...she really rocked that bikini!)
Dr. Craig O'Connell and his team dive in to find out why Ghost Island attracts so many sharks, including the Great White.

Better Call Saul: Season 5 Anyone who enjoys b-movies and outlandish monster flicks should have a blast with "Ghost Shark."
This so called director didn't research the web to see if a story like this already existed.

This one, being spiritual, is not restricted to the beach. Laurel Canyon: Season 1 The opening scene shows the creation of Ghost Shark when a Great White is killed by a redneck tournament fishing couple on a chartered boat. So does the idea of a spirit shark haunting and devouring the living make any sense?

"Ghost Shark," in contrast, is probably closer to 75 or 80 percent "great title," with the execution lagging behind.

It displays the network where it was aired on, premiere date, runtime, episode count, and current status. Whether or not you think the result was good or not it at least tried to do something new with a terribly done to death genre, which was no mean feat by the time it appeared in 2013. PC
Unlike some other SyFy original productions, "Ghost Shark" embraces its b-movie nature and never tries to be anything other than a wildly fun monster movie. The shark also attacks people on a slip and slide, car wash, swimming pool and most impressively when someone drinks a glass of water. Though I am not going to make a habit of watching these films as they are lazy for the most part alluding to the only really good shark film in existence "Jaws".
"Chris Fallows nearly has his head bitten off when a great white sneaks up from behind in New Zealand. The story goes that the screenplay for Ghost Shark was suggested by the 7 year old daughter of someone involved with its development. That is a feat though, but the dialogue is cliché-ridden, underwritten and has too much of the cheese factor. Their tactic: surround and strike. It had to be done you know. But who cares?! A Parks and Recreation Special Then there's me IN the shark.

I won't spoil the raison d'etre for the ghost shark as it's one of the better/sillier things going on here.
