They advertise a savings of 40% with their product, which seems about right.You need to choose the more expensive attractions to visit with the product to make sure that what you pay doesn’t end up becoming more or equal to what you’d pay at the attractions. So, for example, you won’t want to pick the Lincoln Park Zoo Rides as one of your attraction options (it’s only $3) or the American Writer’s Museum ($12).
There were effectively zero lines (except for The Ledge which needs to be monitored to move stagnant tourists with 10-foot selfie poles along) It is UNBELIEVABLE how much area is devoted to human corrals for gaining entry to Skydeck. With instant digital delivery, you can even wait until the last minute to purchase the product when it goes on sale. (Yah I realized I went to five attractions instead of 4, but it was because one of the places messed up and didn't scan my ticket (: . Also I believe that the Go pass had some pretty strict time restrictions. Pricing is different for all of them. I can semi-understand how they get $25 just to pass by this line.
I was wondering if that was the case with this pass as well. It's $140 but you save $60 vs the citypass online!
I doubt that we will be able to make it to more than 4 attractions and our top choices are on the list for the Costco pass. Otherwise, it’s pretty comparable to the Chicago CityPASS in price and in the travel style it encourages (with the exception that the Chicago Explorer Pass also offers products in increments of 3 and 4 attractions). I did try to search the forum and I found a post about the Go card and the CityPass. When you purchase this item, an email will be sent to you normally within an hour (see How to Redeem section). With an even longer time frame to use the pass than the 9 days offered by Chicago CityPASS, the Chicago Explorer Pass gives you a whole month to explore. Pick the big-ticket items like the Grand Tour (about $50) and the Art Institute of Chicago ($35). Our attractions were the Museum of Science & Industry (general $18), Art Institute of Chicago ($25.50 direct, fast pass +$11 not part of Costco), Frank Lloyd Home & Tour in Oak Park ($17), and the Skydeck at Willis Tower ($19.50 direct, fast pass +$25 outrageous)! I know that a few people mentioned that the GO pass does not actually get you priority entry even though it says that it does.

The highest value is going to be the five-attraction pass, at around $120 per adult and $80 per child. We would have passed if the line even filled 1/3 of the queuing area.
